South Africa's Cheetah is perhaps the ultimate development of the basic Mirage III, and the Cheetah C as kitted is perhaps the best. Changes include a fuselage extension behind the cockpit, an extended and bulged nose, wraparound one piece windscreen, dogtooth leading edge extensions, plus many other smaller external changes. This kit is based on the basic work that went into the Mirage III kit, with all the appropriate changes incorporated into the new sprues. Decals are provided to enable all of the low-vis grey camouflage schemes to be modelled.

The High Planes Models kit includes limited run injection moulded plastic, resin and white metal parts, vacuum formed canopies by Falcon and two decal options.
