The CAC Sabre was an Australian produced version of the North American F86 Sabre. It was reengineered to accept the Rolls Royce Avon engine which required substantial changes to the fuselage. It served with the RAAF until replaced by the Mirage IIIO (available as High Planes Kit 072016). A number of the retired aircraft were passed to the Royal Malaysian Air Force and Indonesian Air Force (AURI)

This kit provides the fuselage and cockpit details. It requires a Hobbycraft, Fujimi or Academy F-86F-30 kit for donor parts. Decals are included for 6 different operational aircraft with orange/green/chequered tail flashes to choose from.
