Gloster designed Britain's first jet aircraft to meet the specification E.28/39, powered by Frank Whittle's turbojets. Referred to variously as the "Whittle" and "Pioneer" it was a significant step forward in the development of jet aircraft, ultimately leading to the Gloster Meteor. The High Planes Models kit includes limited run injection moulded plastic, resin and white metal parts, vacuum formed canopies by Falcon and two decal options.
