After the 1973 races, Gunther Balz sold 'Roto Finish' to Jack Silker, before going to Ed Browning's Red Baron Flying Service, who, naturally repainted it in their own colours and gave it a name to match. Unfortunately, the Merlin blew during Reno'74, and this prompted the rebuild that transformed the aircraft into the famous RB-51 champion
