Product Description

The Supermarine Spitfire V was developed to increase the performance and firepower of the earlier marks I & II. It featured new armament, either with two (B wing) or four (C wing) 20mm cannon. It was one of the most successful Spitfire marks, and the basis of the legendary mark IX. It was the first Spitfire to serve in Asia when 1 Wing RAAF was equiipped with Vc aircraft in 1942.

This is a true multimedia kit with a resin fuselage, and the narrow cannon bluge wings from the High Planes Seafire IIIc. Decals for Sqn Ldr Lou Spence, Wng Cmdr Clive Caldwell and a 85 Sqn silver option.

The High Planes Models kit includes limited run injection moulded plastic, resin and white metal parts, vacuum formed canopies by Falcon and decal options.
